As an online business, it can be hard to guage if you're on the right path—I always ask am I making a difference? Does anyone care? Being in the virtual space can sometimes get lonely and working from home in your PJ's can get old quick.
At our recent #PARKSALE pop-up, I met so many amazing women—all shapes, all sizes, all backgrounds and ages. They all had the same response—getting hands-on with Pink Liberty apparel, looking in the mirror and feeling pretty damn cute. Having worked for many years in retail, I remember how much I missed the interaction and seeing customer faces light up, even for a minute. Fashion does that to you - you know?
I also met other inspiring #localyyc businesses all swimming in the same boat, attempting to make a living doing what they love. So many great conversations with #Momboss & #yycmakers like @topknotmommy @annekeforbes @lovevelvette @mrnicesocks1 @flybabyapp @miniwayco.
A heartfelt reminder that we're not alone and this community has your back.
Many items sold out and the feedback was amazing! So grateful to my lovely customers for helping me remember why I started.
Is there a dream you want to pursue or maybe you're in the thick of it? Get out there goddammit, because you never know what's on the other side.
